Welcome, I am glad you are here!
About Me
Welcome to my psychotherapy practice! Taking the initial step to seek help is an act of courage, and I commend you for it.
From our first session together, I strive to create an environment where you feel empowered to unpack the layers of your inner world with curiosity and compassion. I will tailor the pace and style of our work to best fit your needs and preferences. I believe that you are not defined by your diagnosis or symptoms; and that your unique life experiences, desires, conflicts and wishes are meaningful and worth actively getting to know.
Central to my approach is the belief that healthy relationships are key to healing. Many of life’s challenges stem from interactions with others. Maybe you find yourself in relationships where your needs are overlooked, maybe you were betrayed by someone you trusted, or maybe you’ve grappled with forming meaningful connections. The therapeutic relationship can be like a rehearsal space where you have to opportunity to safely practice new ways of relating, and learn to build trust, set boundaries, and create healthy relationships outside of the therapy room.
While the therapeutic journey may have its challenges, I believe growth and transformation often arise from moments of discomfort and vulnerability. Healing is not always linear and sometimes you may feel worse before you feel better. I will be here to support you every step of the way. Together, we can navigate the complexities of your inner world and help you create a more fulfilling and joyful life.
